The English Mustard Growers grow mustard seed for Unilever
for their iconic Colman's mustard brand and
Limited the state-of-the-art mill
on the outskirts of Norwich where food
ingredients is milled with precision.
There are two varieties of mustard seed grown.
White mustard seed (Sinapsis alba) and Brown mustard seed (Brassica juncea).
The seeds of white mustard add heat and the seeds of brown mustard contribute
pungency to the Colman's mustard.
